I don’t cook, I build

This page is dedicated to the “recipes” I’ve attempted to follow and made my own because they didn’t quite work out. I use the word “recipes” loosely because I am not much of a cook, but I love to build. Essentially, cooking is building, but if I see it as cooking, I tend to fail. As a result, I’ve stuck with building because it keeps my creative juices flowing.

What you will find in this section:
– Staple ingredients you will always find stored in my home and what I build with them.
– Simple descriptions of my builds. (I’ll state it again, I’m not much of a cook…much less a recipe writer.)
– Some amateur photography of my builds. (I photograph people better than I do food.)

Lastly, if you didn’t already know, I’m a full-time working mother of soon-to-be two, so my builds are for people on the go go go. I promise there won’t be any builds that’ll take you hours here, and if you’re looking for intricate recipes, my apologies because they aren’t housed here.

I hope you find something that inspires you.

Cheers to the love of food!

  1. Hello Jasmin with no e. I look forward to getting to know you through your writing. I have a young Hispanic friend who is a firefighter in California so that statement caught my eye. I also love writing, journaling, and building food so we have some things in common. Praying you have a safe pregnancy and delivery – it is a very special time.

    1. Shirley, thank you so much for your sweet and kind words. My brother is a firefighter, too. We’re in Southern California. I don’t know where your friend serves. It would be a really small world if my brother and your friend both worked for the same department.
Thank you for stopping by my blog, and for following me! I am excited to meet new people with similar interests, and especially when one of those interests is God. We can all use some more God in our life. =) In one way, shape, or form or another. I look forward to learning more about you through your blog.
Again, thank you for you loving words. Sending you new friend love and prayers.
